The evil ghost of the gigantic saber-toothed Grune -once a ThunderCat, now a banished enemy -is back! He brings the deadly secret that will weaken Lion-O, Cheetara and even Panthro….who can fight him? Is there anyone who can stand up to the frightening power of a ThunderCat gone bad?

While the rest of the THUNDERCATS are under attack from the Mutants deadly Warbot, Lion-O is catapulted back through space and time to his home planet Thundera. Lion-O meets again his childhood pet Kano and his blind father Claud-Us, who holds the secret to the Warbot. The pressure’s on as Lion-O struggles to get back to the future and save Cats’ Lair from certain destruction.

It starts with a view of the video collection catalogue with a sky background and videos anywhere, one of which is the Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Coal and Other Stories VHS, easily identified by the orange background on the cover. The announcer says "Welcome to The Video Collection. Our brand new catalogue is packed with great films."
