Description[]
Winner of the 1990 Perrier Comic of the Year Award at the Edinburgh Festival, Sean Hughes exudes puppy-dog vulnerability and charm. The audience of this live stand-up is immediately captivated, as they are swept into the flow of his mind-journeys and offered bizarre and hilarious insights into Bullseye, the Eurovision Song Contest and the politics of Ireland. But, above all, Sean takes them on a trip to his childhood days in Dublin, where he weaves pathetic pictures of his battles against the hormones, his teenage antics and his farcical family life. Twisting the real with the surreal, no one paints a more vivid, more heart-warming and more hilarious picture than Sean Hughes.
