Nicholas Nickleby is a UK VHS release by The Video Collection on 15th April 1991, and then it got re-released by Kid's Club, and VCI on 9th March 1998.

Description[]

ADAPTED FROM THE NOVEL BY CHARLES DICKENS

As a young man with no experience of the world, Nicholas Nickleby finds himself, his sister and his mother penniless and destitute upon the death of his father. Relying upon the help and goodwill of his Uncle, Nicholas is fooled into taking a job in Yorkshire and leaving his mother and sister to the mercy of their wicked relative and his sinister friends.

This animated version of a traditional story of love and truth overcoming greed shows why Charles Dickens' Victorian tale has become a firm family favourite with numerous generations.
