Les Miserables in Concert: The Dream Cast is a UK VHS release by VCI on 20th November 1995.

Description[]

This programme is a complete recording of the most remarkable performance of Les Miserables ever staged. Filmed live at the Royal Albert Hall on the 8th October 1995 this unique concert brings together a dream cast of over 250 performers from productions worldwide accompanied by the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra, under the direction of David Charles Abell, in a celebration of the 10 years of magic that is Les Miserables.
At the end of the programme Cameron Mackintosh with writers Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg and director's Trevor Nunn and John Caird take the stage to give thanks to all those who have played a part in making Les Miserables one of the World's most popular musicals.
The performance comes to a dramatic climax in a specially scored finale featuring the 17 'Valjeans' from productions around the world singing in their native languages.
