An omnibus cry from the past suddenly awakens the sorceress, mystic guardian of Castle Greyskull. Prince Adam is summoned to take a jewelled sword on a venture to an unknown land. This sword alone should guide him.

In this thrilling, full-length feature film, Prince Adam, now He-Man, and his pet-tiger, Cringer, step through the mystic portal to the Kingdom of Etheria to fight against the evil Forde. The magic sword guides He-Man to Captain Adora and its mystical powers reveal the true identity of Adora - she's the lost twin sister of Prince Adam (He-Man).

Together, they vow to destroy the evil Horde - "For the honour of Greyskull".
