It was first released on VHS Rental in the UK on 13th December 1985 by RCA Columbia Pictures Home Video. It was re-released on Sell Through on 9th October 1987 by RCA Columbia Pictures Home Video. Both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II were re-released as a double feature by VCI Cinema Club on 22nd October 1990. It was re-released again on 25th September 1995 by VCI Cinema Club and Columbia TriStar Home Video. It was re-released on DVD on 15th November 1999 by Columbia TriStar Home Video.
