Cinderella is a UK VHS release in the "Video Gallery" range by Futurevision Ltd on 3rd November 1986, and then it got re-released by Video Collection International Ltd on 7th November 1988. It contains the 1972 Rankin/Bass cartoon short that is based on the Charles Perrault story of "Cinderella" which is featured as part of Rankin/Bass's "Festival of Family Classics" TV cartoon series from 1972.

A stunningly attractive cartoon version of the traditional fairy tale, in which Cinderella is used as a servant by her wicked stepmother to wait on her two ugly sisters.
But when Prince Charming needs to choose a wife, Cinderella's fairy godmother comes to her aid so that she can go to the Royal Ball. Prince Charming then has to find out who the mysterious beautiful lady was, with only a slipper to identify her … can he discover who she is and save her from a life of drudgery … or will Cinderella spend forever condemned to misery?
