Chesterfield's Cup Of Dreams - An Official FA video tribute is 1997 VHS release which documents Chesterfield FA's 1996/19997 football season. The video was approx 60 minutes long and was rated "E - exempt from classification".
It may be common knowledge that the gap between the Premiership and lower divisions is growing wider year by year, but the news hadn't seemed to reach second division Chesterfield in the 1996/97 campaign, as they strode to the brink of an historic FA Cup Final appearance.
In the end, the multi-millionaires of Middlesbrough defeated them in a semi-final replay, but Chesterfield had already made their mark with victories over Bolton and Notts Forest in previous rounds, and an epic 3-3 draw in the first game against Boro. All the highlights are featured here.
