- In "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue", ALF feels rejected and ignored when Lynn Tanner begins to date a classmate. ALF realises that he is in love with Lynn and makes a music video which he dedicates to her. When he shows it to the Tanner family, Lynn realises the extent of ALF's crush and they discuss their situation. ALF soon understands that their special relationship is one of great friends.
- In "Keepin' The Faith", Willie Tanner calls the family together to discuss the drastic overspend on the monthly budget since ALF's arrival. To help pay the extra bills, ALF gets a job - selling beauty supplies. After paying for the stock on Willie's credit card, ALF arranges a party to sell the products. With the help of a super sales pitch, our furry alien friend ensures that the cosmetics sale is a great success.
